Whether your client needs to change the date of an event, or circumstances outside of your control force a cancellation, you need a rescheduling agreement to make clear the policies involved in such a change. This agreement will replace the provisions in your previous client agreement and set clear expectations of both parties for the services to be provided, or not, going forward.
This template may also be used in instances of postponements, with no further date selected.

Statement that the client will reimburse you, the business owner, for any expenses incurred
Statement that the client may reschedule with the same originally agreed upon price, if they rebook before a certain date
How many times the client may reschedule
Statement that future dates may be secured on a first-come, first-serve basis
Statement that both parties release the other from contracts, losses, liabilities, expenses, etc.
Agreement that both parties will not publicly defame the other
Standard legal clauses, including: entire agreement, acknowledgement of full understanding
